Ponte Vanvitelli

Progetto preliminare della nuova illuminazione di Ponte Vanvitelli a Benevento.
Il ponte storico costituì più volte un'inopportuna diga durante le piene del Fiume Calore.
Dopo una spaventosa alluvione nell'ottobre 1949, fu distrutto e rimpiazzato nel 1960 da una struttura più agile a tre arcate e furono effettuate nel contempo poderose opere di arginatura.
Del ponte originale, a sei luci, restaurato nel XVII secolo e nel 1767 ad opera del Vanvitelli rimane traccia nelle strutture di fondazione.
La nuova illuminazione proposta ricorda la struttura secolare
tre accensioni successive evidenziano:
- le nuove strutture di arginatura
- le tre arcate del nuovo ponte
- le sei arcate della preesistenza

The historic bridge was a dam during the floods of the River Calore.
After a terrible flood in October 1949, was destroyed and replaced in 1960 by a more agile with three arches and were carried out large works of embankment.
The original bridge, six lights, was restored in the seventeenth century and in 1767 by Vanvitelli, trace remains of the structures of foundations.

El puente histórico fue un dique durante las inundaciones del río Calore.
